If you want to keep the number, buy an o2 sim card, then call t-mobile, telling them you want to transfer the number, they give you a release code, then call o2 about wanting to change the current number on your new simcard to your old number and they take the release number and it will all be sorted within a week, meaning you may have to survive a week without a phone!!!
