You will need to log into the router and set it up there. Probably under you LAN settings.

XP

1) Goto Start/Run

2) Type in ';cmd';

Vista

1) Click the Start button

2) Type in ';command';

Once you are in the command prompt:

1)Type in ';ipconfig';

2) In your Internet browser type in ';http://'; followed by your default gateway (found in the command prompt)

***Example: http://192.168.1.1 (try clicking the link)

3) Login (search online for login info) Usually admin, password

You may need to go into network and play around with links until you find SSID. OR look in the guide! I looked at it and seen ssid but I cannot actually play with the router because I don't have it. I have a different speedstream, 5 digit model number.

Hope this helps!

The website you need to go to is

192.168.1.1

OR

192.168.254.254

Mine is 192.168.254.254

If you didn't go there before, go their now and it will allow you to set that up right away!

If it says password and you never set it before it is

Username : admin

Password : admin
You need to log onto the router itself. In the address bar type the IP address of the router. Its usually 192.168.1.1.

After that you find the SSID and change it.

You should also put a password on the router also.

Email me if you have questions.

Good Luck
you must login to your router to change the settings.

there is a default password and possibly username on the router if you haven't changed it and look on the manual on the setup cd.

if you have forgotten the router password, you need to reset the router.

I sure hope you have the manual, because I can't even find it at http://siemens-fujitsu.com
