I used to have a 1080i tv but I just bought an LG 1080p LCD tv but my dish network HD box is still set to 1080i and It doesn't let me change it to 1080p does anyone know how to change it? also is 1080i the same thing is 1080p? will there be a difference in the picture?How can I change my dish network HD box from 1080i to 1080p?
Old HD Dish network boxes only supported either 1080i or 720p.
Just leave it at 1080i and your TV will upconvert to 1080p.
