How do you change your network password?

My neighbors figured out the password to my network so now they always use my internet connection whenever they need to use their Itouch. How do i change it?How do you change your network password?
I am assuming that it is a Wireless Network Connection.

On a Linksys network router, the exact steps may vary depending on the model of router you are using.

1) Log in to the admin console using a browser like IE or Firefox. Use your current password and username. Linksys routers typically use http://192.168.1.1 as ';le pro d'; said.

When successfully logged in, you should see a setup or configurations screen.

2) Locate the Administration/Security area and look for the area that allows for password changes.

3) Type in your new password (generally two times to confirm) and choose change/ok/etc (whatever it says to allow the change)

A few words of advise on choosing passwords:

1) NEVER use names, especially of people who may be known by more than yourself.

2) NEVER use birthdates or combinations of those because they are easy to figure out especially if someone else knows the birthdates of members of your household.

3) If possible, use Alpha/Numeric passwords (passwords containing both letters AND numbers) and make the letters a combination of upper and lower case: An example would be a2B3c4D5efG6

4) NEVER store passwords in a text or document ON your computer unless they are inside a password keeper program such as KeePass or RoboForm. Hackers can find passes if they are stored in open, unencrypted form. How do you change your network password?
You do it by accessing your router admin page : usually by defaut , it's either http://192.168.0.1/ or http://192.168.1.1/ from your browser and then enter the access username and password usually admin and 1234 are default for most major brands. once logged in search for the passkey section in the wireless settings page and that's about it.
