';- To join a college network, you need to have a valid school email account. If you've already graduated, college alumni email accounts work too. You must be able to access this email address to confirm your affiliation. Join a college network from the ';Networks'; tab of the Account page.

- To join a high school network, you must be a current high school student. If you have a school email address or an invitation from another member of your high school network, you will be able to affiliate during registration. Alternatively, you can register for the site as an unaffiliated high school user. You will be asked to list your high school's name. Once you are on the site, you will need to be approved by a member of your high school network in order to join it. If you do not successfully affiliate with a high school network within sixty days, you will no longer be able to use the site.

- To join a work network, you need to have a work email address from a supported company. This will put you on a network with your coworkers. Join a work network from the ';Networks'; tab of the Account page.
