How can I link a stable web address to the dynamic ip address assigned by my ISP to my home network?

I have Mac os X with files saved to my ';public'; folder that I would like to access remotely, but every few days the address of my network changes. Is there a service that will give me a stable address that is linked to my changing home network address? How can I link a stable web address to the dynamic ip address assigned by my ISP to my home network?
In addition to dyndns.com, try http://www.no-ip.com. Their free product is available at: http://www.no-ip.com/services/managed_dns/free_dynamic_dns.htmlHow can I link a stable web address to the dynamic ip address assigned by my ISP to my home network?
try this:

http://www.dyndns.com/
There are many dynamic DNS services that will accomplish this. First you register with the dynamic DNS service and get a DNS address like mycomputer.dyndns.com. Next you install a bit of software on your Mac that periodically sends your current IP address to the dynamic DNS service. Whenever you want to access your computer you enter mycomputer.dyndns.com instead of the IP address. The service translates or resolves the plain-text address to your current IP address. Just Google ';free dynamic DNS service'; and several should come up. Hope that helps!
