Changin network adapter in socket 939?

hi how to change network adaptor in socket 939..its a little silver (metal or whatever) box that i cant remove..how to remove it and replace the new network adaptor. i want to put a Zonet ZEN320w instead a Realtek RTL8139/810x family fast etrernet.Changin network adapter in socket 939?
K, socket 939 refers to the socket that the CPU plugs into. From the sound of things, you have an onboard network adapter. You are not going to be able to swap it out for something else. You can install a new network card in a PCI slot. If you feel the need you can also disable the onboard network adapter in the BIOS.

I think you are talking about the onboard ethernet, in which case you can't remove since it is hardwired onto the board. You will have to buy a pci expansion card to change the adapter.
