How do i change my Network Ip Address?>?

Please Help me.....the reason that i want to change my Ip is that i got banned from a room and they blocked my NetworK IP ADDRESS ,,,,,please tell me how to change my NETWORK IP ADDRESS to my computer? How do i change my Network Ip Address?%26gt;?
unplug your modem overnight then power on in the morning it should then be issued with a new ip addressHow do i change my Network Ip Address?%26gt;?
Your public IP address will have been blocked. You have no control on this as it is issued by your ISP from dhcp. It may change at some point as it is likely to be dynamic. The real answer to the problem is not to do anything to get yourself banned.
As the other response indicated, your external IP address is set by your ISP, generally via DHCP. Most ISPs will set a sufficiently long ';lease'; period (a week in many cases) on the assigned IP address so that you almost always get the same IP address.

Your options are:

1) Stop doing things to get you banned.

2) Leave your ISPs router turned off for a period longer than the DHCP lease.

3) Contact your ISP to see if they have any options to force a release of the IP so you can be assigned a new IP address.

I just bought an Apple Airport Express, how can I extend my network using my current Linksys?

I'm trying to extend my network of my Linksys so I can use my Airport Express to hook up my speakers and my printer.

Also, I have a PC and a Mac that I am trying to connect (I don't know if that may cause a problem). My internet works fine on both computers, and I can access the Airport through my Mac and play remotely through iTunes, though I have to change networks from my Linksys to the Airport to do so. So I can't be surfing the web and jamming out with my Airport Express at the same time.

Also I am having a problem loading the Airport Express software from Apple on my Mac. I have Leopard, and it is saying it ';The version of Mac OS X on this volume is not supported';. --- So, I can't logon and extend the server.

Any suggestions??I just bought an Apple Airport Express, how can I extend my network using my current Linksys?
1) The Airport Express can only extend other airport express or basestation products, it will not work with your linsys.

2) Again, the PC will not connect to the Airport express if it is not using a airport adapter. I am guessing your Mac has a built in airport adapter right?

3) If Leopard is not supported then it wont work. Goto the apple web site and search for a software or firmware upgrade that will work with Leopard.

  • I accidentally left my high school network on Facebook and can't rejoin it!?

I accidentally left my high school's Facebook network a while back and tried to rejoin it. But it says that you can't add it because you have to wait 6 months before change networks for schools. I'm not going to wait no fraking 6 months, so please help me rectify this problem. Surely hundreds of other people have had this same problem, if you are one of them, how did you fix it? Everyone knows its such a ******* ***** to contact Facebook (since they don't want to be contacted and claim ';There is no need to contact us, everything you could ever want is in our FAQ/Help';, which is blatant bullshit, just like the new layout). Please help me rectify this most unfortunate problem.I accidentally left my high school network on Facebook and can't rejoin it!?
You have to wait a couple of days to rejoin it. It's to prevent people from joining a network and then leaving to join another one. Basically, it's to stop predators.

What you can do however is get one of your friends from another high school to approve you when you join their network. Once you do that, you can go to the Networks link at the top of the page. Click the arrow next to it. Then go to the bottom and type the real school that you go to under transfer high schools; it should work then.

If you go to an Orange shop, I'm sure they'll sell you a sim only on that plan.

How would you make 2 wireless routers be part of the same network?

What I mean is that if you connect to a network, both of the routers will Emmit the same signal of the same network. So it is like one amplifiers the other. I have one router in my living room and would like to have a new one in my study/office with a Network Drive connected to the Router. I would like to make sure that I would be able to access the Drive even though it is not on the Main Router. The reason I simply do not plug the network drive into the Router in my living room is because there is not enough space. I would like to know how to make a new router be part of the same network as my main network so I don't have to change network to access my Network Drive. How would you make 2 wireless routers be part of the same network?
If you want to connect something wired to a wireless network, you would typically use a wireless bridge.

By default, a wireless router is an access point and will not connect to another wireless router wirelessly. Some can act as a wireless client, or can with 3rd party firmware. For example a Zyxel P-330W with its built-in firmware can be configured as ';wireless client bridge'; which I use to connect my wired desktop and old laptop to my DSL wireless/modem/router in basement. Some Linksys routers can do that with 3rd party dd-wrt firmware.

Another option is powerline networking (like from Netgear). One module plugs in at your router and the other plugs in where you need a connection (one type has single ethernet or another has 4 ports). I used a similar kit with ethernet module and wireless module in bridge mode to extend wireless where signal was weak in my boss' homeHow would you make 2 wireless routers be part of the same network?
You don't need another router, you need a hub. That will increse the number of computers you can connect to the network.
you don't need a second router, you need a wireless NAS drive?

if you want to plug a wired NAS drive into something to connect wirelessly to your router you'd be looking for a wireless bridge (which I think you can get a router to work as but you'd have to mess with the settings...)
    How about a WiFi repeater?
